Check out my recent performance of Rosina’s fiery aria from Rossini’s Il barbiere di Siviglia, “Una voce poco fa,” shared at an NYU showcase. Many thanks to Lauren Vaughn Carlson for her excellent videography.

about me !

A native zero in Saint Louis, MO, my passion for performance was evident from an early age: I was “discovered” singing in my school choir, and at the age of eight started off on a long, winding path of musical study. From private lessons, to community theater, to the Artists-in-Training Program through Opera Theatre of Saint Louis — years of training culminated with my recent graduation from New York University Steinhardt School.

I earned my Master of Music in Vocal Performance with an emphasis on classical voice in 2022, and also hold degrees in journalism and history from Indiana University (I said the path was winding!).

My performance experience is as varied as my educational history: recent roles include Ottavia / La Virtu (L'incoronazione di Poppea) at Chicago Summer Opera, Juno (Orpheus in the Underworld) at NYU, and Cercatrice / Conversa (Suor Angelica) with Winter Opera Saint Louis. I also love being involved in the creation of new music and performed new compositions at NYU’s “First Stages” concert, along with debuting the role of Kristen in the first reading of new musical Dr. Glas.

Outside of performance, I love history (especially linguistic development and historical garments), following my favorite bands, and cheering on NBA stars. I’m deeply grateful to my family for their eternal support in everything I pursue.
